Binfire

Hurray, New version is released!

Today May, 4, 2011 we released the latest version of binfire.com. This version includes Premium Service , Progress reporting for tasks and enhancements to the whiteboard. Two new features of the whiteboard are highlighter to emphasis a  section or an object on the board and laser point. The laser pointer is real cool and lets you broadcast your mouse position to your teammate in real-time. This is a great collaboration tool for brainstorming and document review.

The premium services offers our users more project, more users per project and more storage.  The prices range from $9.95 to $99.95. The task progress report (% complete) lets team members to  report their progress while working on large tasks.

  1. Gah! Why is that whenever I try a product, it shortly afterwards introduces a pricing model which prices me out??!

Is there a special deal for existing (free) customers? More space? More users before pricing limits cut in?

Also, now that you’re going to be Freemium, is there a mechanism for feedback, etc?

Sorry David – rather a lot of questions there!

    Best regards, Daryl.

    1. Daryl,
If you have already created an account you have the enhanced plan (new users get 2GB of storage, existing customers who opened their account before April,4,2011 have 10GB and we will keep these accounts open as long as the user wants to.
We need feedback and believe the best way to improve the product, is to listen to our customers. We will have a binfire forum soon, but in the meantime we can talk via email. MY email is david(at)binfire.com. To thank those who help us improve the service we will upgrade their account.
Hope to hear from you via email.
      Best,
      David
