Week of January 22

If you are accessing binfire behind firewalls (at work or anyplace which has firewall installed), ask your system admin to allow access to binfire. Otherwise Binfire’s communication service called shaveet will be blocked to communicate with Binfire’s servers and some of the tools will not run properly in the application.

In a week’s time we will release the new version of  the application. In this new release all internal pages are SSL encrypted.

I hate spam, so please don’t post spam in the comment box in this blog. It will not be published! We read each comment before approving it for publication. You waste your time writing them, and we waste our time moving them to trash. We only publish comments related to binfire and online project collaboration & management. We publish praises and well as criticism of the site and insightful write ups about project collaboration.

  1. I like the app, but it is very important to have a project calendar which is synced to Google calendar and outlook.

  2. Excellent post! I think this really lutislrates the complexity, but also the manageability of ERP implementations. They are not discrete IT projects, nor an exercise in forward planning or any number of other things. A successful ERP implementation hinges on people from across the company engaging on a company-wide level in a way they perhaps rarely do. IT has to be led by management priorities, with the strategic vision guided by the situation on the shop floor and the potential of the ERP solution chosen. The key is really in planning and communication, and a consistent focus on the possible.
