We just released the latest version of binfire’s online project collaboration application. In this version we have added task reordering and task move. These two features are the most frequently asked features by our users. To use these features use the toolbar to the left of each task. Remember to see this toolbar, just hover you mouse over a task name as shown here.

The first icon on the right is for reordering tasks. The second icon is for moving tasks from one level to another level. Just a reminder that Binfire supports Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for tasks. This means that you can decomposition a complex system to smaller and smaller sub system. The reorder tools lets you grab and move a task at its own level. Just click on the icon for the reorder and drag the task up and down. To move a task inside another task or bring a sub-task one or more levels up, use the move icon. Just click on it and a new page opens which guides you to place the task wherever you like. Just a reminder that all dependencies are removed when a task is move. The application automatically enumerates all tasks after a move.

We have also made it easier for you to create new projects. You can move project members from one project you own to another. Members which you move get notified about the new project.
