Binfire is now free project management software<\/a> for educational institutions. <\/span><\/p>\n

We have been offering free plans for nonprofits<\/span> and<\/span> startups. It is about time to do the same for our educational users.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have always supported educational institutions, and in fact, many universities and colleges, like the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Management,<\/a> use Binfire.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This offer is valid not only for universities and colleges but also for high schools and vocational schools. So if you are teaching in Newton S<\/a>outh High School or at MIT,<\/a> you can use Binfire for free!<\/span><\/p>\n

Free Project Management software<\/span><\/h2>\n

So which educational institutions get in this free plan? The short answer, everything in the application is absolutely free with no limits! I have listed a few of the features Binfire\u00a0offers its educational users.<\/span><\/p>\n

Managing tasks<\/strong>– You can get organized\u00a0for all the course you offer. The task manager is a complete task management service<\/a> which offers tasks, subtasks, milestones, and dependencies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Document\u00a0 Collaboration<\/strong>– We can collaborate on PDF and image files in Binfire. The application allows as many as 500 people to simultaneity\u00a0view and to\u00a0mark\u00a0up a document in real-time. This is a great tool for remote teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n

Boards<\/strong>– Using boards<\/a> to view and manage tasks and to-do lists is a huge time-saver. Based on Kanban principles, the boards’ let the team have a clear view of all tasks and their status throughout the project’s life-cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Soon we will be upgrading our Kanban\u00a0boards feature, to exceed what Trello<\/a> offers currently.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Calendar<\/strong>– With the release coming in April 2019, the app will have workspace and project calendars. You can add and edit tasks, milestones, bugs\/issues, events, vacations, holidays, and out of office time to your calendar.<\/span><\/p>\n

The filters on the top allow you to see tasks assigned to you and every member of your team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whiteboard<\/strong>– An interactive whiteboard<\/a> is a wonderful\u00a0tool for brainstorming. You can use the whiteboard the same as using a classroom whiteboard for remote learning.<\/span><\/p>\n

Time tracking<\/strong>– There are times that you and your team need to track time<\/a> when working on tasks. The time tracker built in\u00a0the application lets you do this easily.<\/span><\/p>\n

Native Apps<\/strong>– We have IOS and Android native apps so you can access the application from anywhere and anytime. Find us in Google Play<\/a> and Apple’s App store by searching for Binfire Tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cloud Storage<\/strong>– Binfire\u00a0provides one of the most versatile storage solutions in the industry. In addition to providing secure cloud storage, the application automatically\u00a0saves every version of a file. This way all versions of the same file are always available. When multiple\u00a0people work on a file, the file could be locked so only one person can enter changes. This prevents people from writing\u00a0over each other’s sections.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Google Integration<\/strong>– The application is already integrated with Google drive<\/a> and Google calendar<\/a>. Next, we will integrate with Gmail and Google Docs.<\/span><\/p>\n

DropBox Integration<\/strong>– Like Google Drive, you can use your files in\u00a0your DropBox<\/a> storage with your tasks, comments, and messages.<\/span><\/p>\n
