It was installed on 5.16% on all Android mobile devices (trust me that\u2019s a lot) in just 2 days. \u00a0It is estimated that Nintendo \u00a0earned about $4.9 to $5.9 million on the first day of it\u2019s launch. It has added a staggering <\/span><b>$7.5 billion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to Nintendo\u2019s market value.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Need I say more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">All you need to do to see this in action is to go out and observe and you will find many if not all members belonging to the young demographic using this app. It has evolved from an application to a sort of phenomenon and everybody could and should learn from the colossal success of Pok\u00e9mon GO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">How did this phenomenon came to be? One of the reasons is the introduction of augmented reality. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">To it\u2019s core augmented reality is a simple principle- mixing virtual reality with the user\u2019s physical reality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">And that\u2019s where lies it\u2019s secret to success, it integrated itself with its user&#8217;s life blurring the lines between what\u2019s virtual and real making a new hybrid reality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">And that\u2019s exactly what a project management software should learn from Pok\u00e9mon GO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Not mixing the virtual and the real world of course but integrating user\u2019s project management space to his workspace to a limit where they are one and the same thing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The statement above doesn&#8217;t make sense, let me explain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A ideal user today uses a project management software for solely his\/her\u2019s project management needs. He uses another set of tools to do his actual work, this might include excel sheet, word document or any other tools which helps him in completing his part in the project. These tools make up his workspace. There may be the inclusion of field visits outside office as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Both of these components are separate and require additional cost, time and effort to maintain. Which cumulatively increases the time, cost and effort of the project in it\u2019s entirety. Therefore the user and the organisation would benefit exponentially if both of these components were part of the same system or were tightly integrated. This would decrease the project management effort which is the sole reason to use project management in the first place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Just think how easy it would be if you manage your work and do your work at the same place. How simple will it make the user\u2019s work if he could view his current task, track time, monitor the project progress and do his actual work all at the same place.
