board and list view

Do you like to use boards to create new tasks and view the status of all your task? Do you like the simplicity which list view provides for managing tasks and adding subtasks? Do you want to be able to switch between the board and list view at will?

Unfortunately, most project management applications like Asana or Trello only give you the option to have the board view or list view, not both!

Binfire gives you both views on every project and then some! Not only the application lets you use board and list views, it also provides interactive Gantt, Burndown chart and project stats with information about each task in the project for all your projects.

Board and list View

Boards are great to visually manage tasks. They let you change the status of a task easily, add new tasks, and view all your task in a nice graphical view based on where they are in the development cycle.

If you use Agile project management to manage your projects, Kanban based boards are a must. They make it easier to use options like scrum or other Agile methods.

Lists are great for easily adding subtasks, descriptions, assigning the task to someone, and to attach files to a task.

If you use waterfall as your preferred task management method, lists which have subtask options are the right choice.

Both options are important and needed in a robust project management software. The combination of both methods frees the project manager and the project team from the methodology and lets them focus on the project itself.

Why not all project management applications don’t support both options simultaneously for all projects you might ask? Because supporting board and task view are complicated and the application’s structure needs to be designed from the beginning to allow these options.

Binfire is enhancing the board and list view constantly to give our customers the best project management tool possible. Try us and see for yourself!

There are many Asana or Trello alternatives out there, but we are working hard to make the application so simple to use such that our users will focus on their projects and not how to use the application.
