Project Files

The project folder is a shared folder accessible by all project members. Each member’s permissions (reading/writing) are customizable by the project manager. The project folder has all the functionality of the private folder plus some additional tools. These tools are available in the drop down box to the right of each row. In the project folder, a file can be locked by a member who has R/W permission. This is a useful feature for cases in which more than one person is working on a file. Also, you can tag and search for files in the project folder, something which is not available in the private folder. All versions of a file are kept and can be accessed using the ‘File info’ tab in the drop down menu. This page is live and if something happens on this page (for instance, somebody uploads a new file), all project members who are in this page can see it instantly.

Another feature allows you and your fellow project members to collaborate on PDF documents, using the Binfire’s PDF Mark-Up tool.
